Names – Kanji Designs

These names in Japanese are actually written using katakana script, so are not strictly kanji tattoos. Katakana is the usual way to write foreign names and places. The difference is that while each kanji symbol conveys a distinct meaning, katakana symbols only represent sounds. Read aloud by a Japanese speaker the names here will sound similar to English, but adapted to fit the Japanese language.
